In 2004 we established the Dr. James R. Gray Stray Animal Fund in honor of our dear friend and client. Dr. Gray passed away on January 25, 2006. He was a retired physician and breeder of champion Whippets and Italian Greyhounds including Earl, a Westminster winner.
Dr. Gray was one of the greatest animal lovers we have ever met. Because of his generous contributions over the years, countless sick and injured stray cats and dogs of Barrow County Georgia have received treatment. Once these cats and dogs are rehabilitated they are adopted into loving homes.
Donations to the fund cover the cost of medications, medical supplies and laboratory tests. All medical and surgical services are donated by the staff and doctors of Winder Animal Hospital.
